I don't think going out with his sister would upset her much. Also, if you're a sophmore, you can't really tell he's that much younger than you. I mean - COME ON - 6 months!!! However, if you're a senior, it's a little more obvious. However, either way you look at it, he's only half a year younger than you, and maturity isn't that different in 6 months, honestly.

If he's six months younger than you, even if he's in a lower grade level that you, he's basically your age... it's not like he's two years younger than you. Treat him like you would someone six months older than you. If you were friends with his sister, why would she be upset that you like her brother? I mean, I would understand if you and his sister were mortal enemies, but it's none of her business who you like.

How is dating a guy going to upset his sister who is a friend of your's? As far as telling him you like him this usually works:
"I like you".

dont worry about it.......you can go ahead and tell him how you feel......i mean, hes only one grade lower.......and only 6 months.....who cares?..........dont worry about his sister she should be cool with it....especially since she doesnt have to see it every day at school..........trust me this is no big deal......when i saw the question i thought you were 10 years older than him...

Depending on your usual habits, it's a pretty good blatant illustration of "love" when you give him a gentle grab on his crotch...there will be no question thereafter ;-)
