i recently asked a question regarding "butterflies" and received some disheartening responses. a majority felt superior-which you are NOT-and there were 2-3 that actually understood my line of questioning. have we really lost the ability to smile for a change? these "snobs" who take their lives too seriously are the ones who are screwing up the world i believe and live in! they need to stay home or move to PLUTO!

I believe that the idea of "politically correct" killed the world's sense of humor because if you tell a joke, I gaurentee it, if you really think hard enough, you can find something offensive in even of the most G-rated jokes on the plantet that somebody will be offended by.
Word of advice though... I wouldn't move to pluto. It's to far from the sun, so you'd freeze, and there's no water, so you'd get dehydrated. Try mars, supposedly there's water, and it's close enough to the sun so you can stay warm. Oh, and don't move to Jupiter either. That planet's covered in toxic gases, plus there's the risk of falling into that big red spot thing. But if you do decide to move to space, tell us what ice skating on the rings of saturn is like!

Not just on here its in real life too, walk down any street or through any shopping centre and everybody has a miserable face. I think thats why people drink so much these days, the only time they can relax and raise a smile is once intoxicated. But you are right people on here seem particularly miserable and paranoid. Lighten up man!!

With all due respect, sir, I find your particular viewpoint on the purpose of this website to be distorted and juvenile. I also wish to inform you that the human race is, in fact, incapable of travelling to pluto, as is demonstrated by the theory of...... no just kidding dude!!! Chill out everyone!!!! Hav sum fun!!!

You're right, too many people have forgotten what humour is. It would kill them to smile or laugh. Sad times we live in when it has come to that.

I agree! Too many take life far too seriously. Life is for living but you will never get out of it alive, so just enjoy it while your here.

Not everyone enjoys the same kind of humor but most of the answers seemed tongue-in-cheek to me.

P.S. I really liked the expression "Drunken pieces of paper". Good turn of phrase.
