She actually cited that as one of the grounds huh? She was a very selfish and stupid person. That's about the most idiotic reason I've heard (TODAY).
I would rather have my wife right next to me so I can feel her warmth. On the other hand if she stank like an animal in the zoo or a construction worker after walking iron that's another story.
In the recliner, on the couch or in the bed, I want my girl next to me. Even though she cheated on me. I'm trying to see if this marriage is salvageable.

Wow, I guess Id better get rid of my comfy chair. I thought Id never see the day when a guy loses out to a chair. Did the judge classify this as cheating or alienation of affection? I just bet this didnt "sit" well with the judge. This is a setback for men when we cant have our own comfy chair in our own castle and to believe she was granted a divorce because of this. I bet youll check out the seating arrangement of your next girlfriend. Good luck

Like it or not married life involves 2 people...and if you were unable to show affection towards your partner and come and go a bit.. you can't blame her for leaving....
selfish people are often not aware of how selfish they are....learn to be more attentive and less cocooned.....remember it's not about the armchair....by the way i've got one of those jimmy saville numbers and it's well comfy....
not worth loosing the wife over though...ya diddy is it.??

I do have my comfy armchair but once in a while I know when to abandon it and move over to were my wife is. In a marriage learn to read your partner's thoughts and strive no matter how low you might be, to act cheerful. Remember, the sofa doesn't offer better comfort than your wife and how gay are you to repel her advances?

If I am sitting in a separate chair (with the dog on my lap) and my wife complains, then I move over to the sofa with her (sometimes with the dog). Usually everyone is happy. But, try sitting on the sofa yourself, and if she sits in a separate chair, then complain to her about the same thing. If you do this a few times it usually will reduce complaints about this particular issue. Also, as long as you are on the couch with her, initiate some sex.

The fact I prefer to sit alone in my comfy armchair, as you do, I think is common for most men. Sitting on couch is a woman thing, I swear it.
No, I am not married, but have been involved enough to know that is is a woman's pecularity. They may not want sex, but they want us hanging about closely, like a hound looking for its next meal.

We always sit together and snuggle up on the sofa. Hey, we are all different but surely that was not grounds for a divorce!!! There were obviously other issues. Move on and find someone who you will be happy with. Good luck.

" Not the comfy chair!" Monty Python
We both have a comfy chair, in seperate rooms as well. The sit together kind of high school affection just does not work for us.
We like our privacy together. We also like to watch and listen to different things.

my husband and i used to argue about this same thing, but honestly i do not see it as a basis to divorce someone. my husband is a very good man and treats me with love and respect, but he is not too much a 24/7 cuddly type, whereas i am, but i have come to understand he needs space sometimes and i try to let him be, and he also puts more effort in staying with me, which i appreciate cos i know he wants me to be happy.
did ur wife feel totally neglected? was she always lonely? did she have a higher sex drive than u? did u not make her feel like a queen?
u sound a nice guy so i am wondering why she choose to divorce u.

As a man, you have got to have your own chair, you need your own space, how can you sit on the sofa when the wife is always sprawled out on it, Hmmmm lets see, cramped corner of sofa due to wife sprawled out or the comfort of your own chair, no contest, chair every time
