I think I am a pretty decent person - I do nice things for people without expecting anything in return, I love animals, when I had someone I was a great girlfriend. But now people chose just to not keep in contact with me, avoid getting to know, and I haven't had a date in about year and half.

I am in a new town - doing an internship so its hard to meet people who are remotely in my age range who aren't married with kids and other obligations. The town I am in has nothing to do - except go to the lake and obviously its kinda cold out so that's a no go.

You are good enough right now, just having trouble meeting people. Have you considered volunteering your time to an organization? Great way to help out and meet people interested in the same things. Also don't get discourged if people you do meet are not in your age range. Let them know you are new to the area. Maybe they have a relative your age they can introduce you to.

You gotta get out & mingle, you can't meet anyone sitting at home, have you talked to your friends who have been ignoring you, there is nothing wrong with you taking the first step, somrtimes that is all it takes, you know in this day & time everyone is so busy just trying to keep up with everything that goes on in our lives, don't give up, find out what is going on. it is called people being people. I am in the same boat, and just choose to go with the flow of things. my best friend of 4 years moved last year, we talked every day, now she is moved and unless I call her we do not talk.....so now we simply do not talk.
