I think he has. He has not been playing like a rookie, he has been playing like a player that has been playing for about three years. He has been very consistent and has picked alot of yards and has 3 touchdowns for the season. I think he should be in the top five for the Rookie of the Year candidacy. What do you think?

He looks like a solid rusher. I don't think he deserves to win rookie of the year if he's plugged into that juggernaut of an offense that's run by perennial pro-bowler Peyton Manning. If you can't get your yards on that team, you aren't getting them for anyone. Hence, the only way I could vote for him was if he was to blow away every other rookie at his POSITION. You've got guys like Maroney in New England on "good not great" running teams (and who also split time with a veteran starting back as does Addai) who have played comparably. Also consider that the Patriots aren't a top-scoring team, with subpar receivers (they just lost 17-14 at home, no less, to the Jets). If their running back has numbers in the same ballpark at the end of the season as Addai's (just using him as an example), then I don't think Addai rates the vote. You just can't vote for a guy who has the privilege of getting plugged into that amazing offense----unless he, again, just blows everyone else away.

Addai is a great tallent and will be the starter for the Colts next year. This year the rookie of the year has been Marques Colston of the Saints. He was drafted in the 7th round and has outproduced every other rookie in the draft. His numbers through eight games are off the charts...
