Because they only put in the good parts. Plus, they only show the most interesting cases. I don't think real courtrooms are all fascinating, all the time. My therapist is an expert witness sometimes in court cases and he said his cases are usually downers.

I guess it depends on the witnesses--like, watch Judge Judy sometimes. My mom watches that sh!t eeeeevery time it comes on. Some witnesses are very smart and interesting, some are total bozos (but interesting, especially when she makes fun of them) and some of them...are totally forgettable. Sometimes, the legal process is just a lot of facts and figures, with no colorful characters or visual aids or pics of a gory crime scene.

Justice is blind. And sometimes boring as hell.

Because everything is over dramatized and well acted out. They keep the legal talk to a minimum and tend to let the lawyers do and say what they want to. It doesn't hurt that most cases on television are very interesting and suspenseful to the point you really don't know what is going to happen.
