Yes, contrary to what some who are under educated or who beleive what their friends tell them you CAN get pregnant during your period. ALL having your period is is the removal of the lining that nourishes an embryo. IF that embryo started out being fertilized way up near the tubes at ovulation then it is possible it hadn't had time for implantation to occur before one's period. During you're period implantation can STILL take place, then of course there are the times when ovulation occurs MORE than just once a month, which happens quite frequently. If you don't want to get pregnant don't have sex. If you don't want an STD, or HIV use protection when you have sex If you don't want HPV don't have sex because it is spread by skin to skin contact and not "bodily fluids" so if either partner has it (even if they don't have an outbreak) and part of their "privates" (better known as genitals)touch as happens during sex HPV is then spread to their partner. If you WANT to wind up either pregnant or with a disease keep listening to your friends.

Yes, the sperm can stay alive for a few days inside of you and you can ovulate during that time and get pregnant. You should be ok if your birth control though.

most defiantly, some times when u ovulate two eggs get released, one causes your period to occur and the other is still floating around in your womb. It doesn't happen often but It does happen, lol that's how my third child came about.

YES, so please use protection even when you are on your period. People get slack when they start believing old wives tales. The best way is to stay protected until you know you and your partner are completely clean and stable enough to bring a baby into this world.
Always be careful, otherwise the consequences aren't too pretty.
