Here on yahoo answers type the following (without spaces):

Without spaces you get this: ²

Similarly, do & # 1 7 9 ; to get the third power: ³

hold shirt and press the number 6, which it is ^, and press what number you want to be the pwer.

example: ^2 is the 2nd pwer
^3 is the 3rd power

you can click on superscript in microsoft and type 2, use the carrot (^) and then 2, and also press alt 0178 (²)
