I am undergoing counselling because i have felt female since i can recall. i am 34 now and wish i had done somethnig about it mbk in my 20's. i cannot help the way i feel and i feel so much happier when i say to myself that i am a woman. unless someone feels this way then they cant answer your question appropriately.

iv seen a sexual psychologist and im soon to see a gender psychologist via my GP. I feel i cannot go on the way i am. I have been tearing my hair out, crying, hitting myself and shout at myself phrases like - ' GET OUT GET OUT' / ' WHY CAN'T I BE NORMAL? ' / ' WHY IS THIS HAPENING TO ME?' So my answer to your question is YES. In today's society SRS is justifiable.

If someone truly feels that they were born the wrong gender, then it is certainly justifiable for them to have their operation; but, only and only if they can afford it. I do not feel it justifiable for someone that does not have the money to expect the taxpayers to pay for their sex change operation.
