I started miscarrying last night. I didn't bleed much last night. Today, I just used a tampon, but have gone all day without even needing to change it. Is this normal?

You shouldn't be using tampons anyway, use a pad. You don't want an infection right now.

Using tampons while going through a miscarriage is a bad idea. It can cause a very serious infection. It is NOT like a normal period. DO NOT use tampons. Besides, you shouldn't leave a tampon in for more than a few hours. That in itself can cause an infection.

Depends on how far in your pregnancy you were. You really should use pads not tampons to avoid infections and also because there are likely to be blood clots etc that need to be able to get out of your body.
Have you had some medical attention? If not go get yourself checked out so they can tell you exactly what's happening with your body. Good luck.

You shouldn't use a tampon at all, it will block what's coming out; if your not bleeding much are you sure your having a miscarriage? You should go to the ER ASAP if you haven't already.

When I miscarried, it was slow to start but it was heavy on days 2 and 3. Hope it is all ok. If it stops then I would go and see your doctor as maybe you're not.

Well if your having m/c then I would recommend not using a tampon, it will stop the flow of blood and could cause a serious infection.

Are you sure you miscarried, caused when I miscarried I soaked pads I actually had to end up going to the hosptial. But then again every one is different. But you might want to call your doctor.

you shouldnt use a tampon you really need to use a pad and go to your doctor you should be checked to make sure you really are miscarrying there could be somthing else wrong.....

you shouldnt be using a tampoon!!! use a pad...your goingto end up with an infection..ps..sorry about the miscarriage...god bless
