The very first time I saw Barack Obama give a speech was at the convention and I said to myself right then and there "This is the next President of the US". He has it all. Every quality a President requires, and then some. If Democrats want a sure winner they need to endorse Obama. Not because he would be the first black US President ( OK that does help ) but because this man has sooooooooo much intellect, and could lead the American people to becoming a great nation as it used to be. I would work on his campaign committee if I had the opportunity. Go OBAMA!!!!!!!

I believe he'd have a chance, but only if he ran as in independent. The 'Republicrats' are too deeply entrenched within their own money cultures. Hillary Clinton has the money to be the Democratic candidate, and therefore - I think - Obama would have to run as an independent on a platform as unique and controversial as that of Ross Perot's in 1992. -RKO-

This is not an issue of race(Blessed). This is an issue of strength. Barack obama is very left. I would put Clinton in office before him. Obama is just a younger version of Kerry who likes to play the race card. No he doesnt have a chance.

No - I think a black still does not have a chance unless he is as nationally famous as Colin Powell. Mr. Obama is backed by the Oaf-Frau Wind-Frey and most Americians would not appreciate her "bought" and "paid" for candidate as she has revealed her nature to be extremely racist. She plays that "black" card over and over and over and the blacks have to tell her to back off because she is wrong. She wants to be "white" hollywood. She does a lot of good and is to be appreciated, but she is too famous to be repeatedly revealing predjudice against her own one day and then for them the next. Mr Obama would have had a better chance by getting better known in other ways and by staying away from Miss Frau. I like him, appreciate her, but this "coupling" turns me off.

What's his platform? All I know is that he wants amnesty for all illegals, he supports programs that promote discrimination, he is against the military, he is for raising taxes and he has only been in office for 1/2 a term. What the hell would be have to offer this country other than a name that is amazing similar to a terrorist? I hope to God American aren't that Freaking retarded, but then again I'm beginning to wonder.

What will he run on? What are his accomplishments? What has he done? Besides being a good speaker, just what are his qualifications?
