change your wardrobe! dress classy and trendy, you dont need to wear granny underwear or anything, you still have a long time before you do!
try shopping at more "adultish" rather than like hollister and abercrombie....you can still wear it , just not like everything you wear is going to be abercrombie.........try shopping at places like bebe and express and the limited
try wearing jeans that arent destroyed like with a businessy looking jacket and a cute tank underneath that shows a little bit of your stomach, (if you have a flat stomach)
and dont wear like bright pink colors or anything like that, wear more sophisticated colors that arent like barbie-ish, but you also dont have to wear black and white
hope this helped!

Young is good. Girlish is not - at 24....
The difference has to do with the way you present yourself: attitude and clothing.

Attitude: even if you look young, you need to act your age. Don't scream and get all excited. Speak in a clear, slower way. Look at people in the eyes. Smile in a confident way. You need to be confident - that's very important.

Clothes: no teen clothes, of course. Good taste is subjective, but I think we can agree on the fact that you shouldn't wear too revealing or too tight clothing. No hot ping or glitter. Buy nice accessories, such as sophisticated necklaces, small precious earrings, a nice watch. Shoes? no platform, nothing that begs for attention, unless you are in classy high heels...

Hair: the classy ponytail could work, if you have long hair.

Makeup: focus only on your strong points: do you have nice eyes, hot lips? Emphasize one feature only, keep the rest low-key.

Well, I personally have the same issue. I'm 22 myself, but people have said I look 14...and I heard that my brother's friends think I don't look old enough to drive. There isn't a specific way to dress for older people, necessarily, but some small things could chance the way you look, age-wise.

I don't know how you're dressing currently, or if you have a job, but you could try a more sophisticated look with clothes that you might wear to work. Sweaters/shirts with just one color. Pants that aren't crazily tight and don't show your tummy. (Same thing with shirts.) Hair style can change things too. I think a ponytail might make you look older versus having your hair half-up. I guess you really just have to play around with different styles and looks.

Sometimes people also just appear short because of their height or their faces. If you have a youthful face, you should appreciate it while you can, because once we're all older, we'll wish we were young again. I've come to accept being short and having a young appearance just because even though I think I dress for someone my age, I get mistaken for someone younger all the time. I just have to make sure I carry my license with me all the time. ;)

Try and wear like clothes that are in the women section that people would wear to work at a office or even some slacks and a nice blouse!!!

dont wear any t-shirts that say stupid sayings or tooo tight jeans. Try and find yourself a pair of darkwash jeans, a neutral blazer, a great pair of heels, a "little black drees", and a comfy, but sofisticated "around the house but it's good enough to wear if i go to the store" outfit.

try shopping at places such as banana republic, charolotte russe, express, forever 21, AF and victorias secret (for good hoodies and sweats), new york and company, and the limited

Thats a good thing and I don't think you should change anything because I take "looking young" as a compliment. The same thing it happening to me. Im 23 and people say I look about 13 yaers old. i think its cool and crazy that I look young to everyone except "me".

good, check out watching for a few great darkish denims(can get dressed it up or down) and a few jackets and great camis to put on below it. simply get stuff that u can put on with unique matters. and colours that flatter tons of alternative colours. and get jewellery that is going with all of it and stands proud, however no longer an excessive amount of.
