Note the answers on 2, 3, 5 and 7 ... that's where we all differ.

1) organic compounds
2) oxygen or respiration (the question is not clear)
3) molecular basis for genetics (not chromosomes ... some DNA is outside the chromosomes ... and there's no RNA in chromosomes)
4) condensation
5) lobster (ask anyone from Maine)
6) freezing or solidification
7) weight (not mass ... mass is the amount of gravity exerted *by* the object, not acting *on* it. I.e. mass is independent of the gravity acting on it ... since the more gravity experienced, the more it weighs, weight is more correct).
8) boiling or vaporization (or if you're in England, vapourisation)
