There are a lot of great places to go for entertainment in Phoenix. I am not sure where in Phoenix you are, there are many suburbs in greater Phx., but if you are downtown in the city, you have a number of clubs and venues that play all types of music right by Washington, near the sports arena, the most of them are on the back of the US Airways Center.
If you are in Scottsdale, you could go to Old Town, where you will find a lot of clubs that play all types of music, I am sure more than one of them offer blues.
Tempe may also be an option for you. They have a very cute downtown that is loaded with clubs and restaurants.
Between those three areas, there is sure to be something for you. Good luck.

The new times is a local publication... I believe the best website to find stuff is www.azcentral.com.
A great sports bar is Alice Cooperstown (1st Street and Jackson). If youre looking to see and be seen, the best place to go is old town Scottsdale (Scottsdale Rd from Camelback south to Osborn). Phoenix does not have much in terms of blues clubs, but there is a Lousiana style restraunt called "Baby Kays" on 20th Street and Camelback in the Town and Country Center that has great food and blues music on the weekends.

I LOVED Alice Cooperstown - of course I'm a fan of Alice Cooper himself. But I went with non-Alice fans and they really liked the food & drinks and the sports-bar type atmosphere.
If you go - order some of the barbecue food - the sauces were INCREDIBLE!!

there's a tremendously stable place in Tempe stated as Bison witches. i be attentive to extraordinary call however the foodstuff is stable. it somewhat is a Deli and Bar with sandwiches and bread bowl soups. it somewhat is stable.
