I'm a male and recently went up to visit a old friend of mine. When I got there, I realized I had forgotten my briefs. I didn't want to go commando so he let me borrow some of his. I'm married and am quite sure that I'm straight. However, Do you think that it was ok for me to wear my friends briefs? They were clean and I'm positive he doesn't have any STD's.

As long as it was washed, you're fine.

Obviously since you chose to wear them there isn't anything wrong with it. What I or any other guy would do is not indicative of what you feel is right or wrong. Personally I would have gone commando but since I only rarely ever wear briefs that makes my opinion biased. And guys who want to wear gal's panties instead of a guy friends underwear believe they would feel better that way. Although panties might be harder to explain if you wound up in the emergency room - hehe.

So, as long as he'd washed them before you got to wear them who cares.

What a perfectly ridiculous question--its only cleaned fabric. You are very insecure to think that its something sexual or connected to an STD to wear somebody else's briefs. If they are clean, they are clean. And for those who suggest its like two guys' sexual parts touching...boy are you insecure. Now I don't make a habit of wearing other guys' briefs, but I'm also not so phobic as to go without them if that's the choice.

I, personally, would have just went to the store to buy a couple of pairs.

But if you didn't think of going to buy some, I guess asking your friend was all right. Plus you both are men, and mistakes happen. Later on in life, it would make an embarrassing story for you and him to laugh about- but like I said........it happens.

And why did you not want to go commando? It would seem to me to be the most sensible thing to do, other than going out to buy yourself some new underwear. There's nothing wrong with going commando, in fact, I recommend it.

What's the big deal??????

I'd even wear a total stranger's briefs, if he was not diseased.

I like to be very informal & you are too UPTIGHT about nothing at all. Get real, bro.

I personally would not, but I would not think a guy to be gay if he did. But then again, I don't share drinks or forks with other people beside my girlfriend. Girls, share underwear all the time, doens't make them lesbian.. or does it?

If they have been washed then you will be fine.

Crabs can linger in clothes, towels etc but they wouldn't survive being washed in hot water.
