Um how about no! I know a lot about these pograms. the way they work is that they let people go through your files.its called spyware and viruses. They breakdown your computer badly.having limewire and having no viruses its not possible dont intall it.its worthless and oyull regret it.i tried it 5 times and i took me 5 times to reallize how it actually works. http://www.imgdump.net/ i use that wbesite to download music for my ipod its free and you dont need to sign up or anything just go there and click on the bottom of the page were it says MUSIC SEARCH search some songs click the download and click on SAVE and pick the music folder on your computer and wallla!

If you use any P2P program you need a good antiviurs program, and a good firewall. You also want to be online only long enough to download, then get off. I use morpheus from time to time, and I have McAffee installed. I have never had any problems with viruses, spyware, or someone taking control of my computer. I've never used Lime Wire, so I can't speak from personal experience, but I saw a news program where someone connected to LimeWire and 24 hours later their computer was being used by someone else as a server for a porn site!

Limewire is very useful, however you need a fast, modern computer to handle it because music, videos, and programs are stuffed with viruses on occasions. I recommend getting rid of the free limewire and purchasing limewire PRO, less virus, less corrupt files

its free...its goood......one in a while the songs wont download but other than that its really goood
