Some of the best people have little or no formal qualifications. If you've got the ideas to make a business, the means somehow whether it's simply hard work or some capital then you can probably make it work equally as well.

The best folks get folks in to help that are smarter than themselves in various skills. Accounting, marketing, etc etc. You have to have a few things for yourself though. The judgement to pick out those that can help you-this is through experience unfortunately. The initial idea of course. The will and drive to succeed. As you get experience, the people skills to make it go further. Many things you need, you cannot learn in school in any case. My ex-business partner loathed school somewhat and was a skiver. His motivation could not be fired up by some teacher saying he'd gotta do x,y,z homework. His motivation was simply he wanted the business, the money and to not be told what to do. Do you believe in what you can do for yourself? Get on with it then :-). Good luck too.

If you want to be successful? Yes, yes yes!! You also will need a college degree, because a high school diploma just isn't enough anymore. The business world is all about respect if you want to succeed, and having good contacts, as well as fresh marketing and mathematical skills. Most people in the business world are not going to respect you if you don't have a proper education.

I'm not saying you definitively can't do it without one, because I don't know you, but I'm saying that in general, you won't have the skills to do so without one at the very LEAST.

No, business owners usually go into business because it something that they are good at or they are investing in someone else who will do good.

You should be fine. There are sort of vendors that you can contract for things that you are unfamiliar with, for example, business accounting for (SE Taxes, Payroll, Bookkeeping).

I know people that have not even made it to high school and are successful business owners. They did however go back and get their GED and take some college courses, but not because they had to it was because they wanted to get some more education.

I wish you the best. :)

A high school diploma will not necessarily help you operate a business. A higher education will help in getting investment capital, if needed, but you do not need to be educated formally to do well.

No, just determination. Some of the most wealthy men in the world do not have college degrees. Bill Gtaes dropped out of college to start MicroSoft. Try starting with this.

NO. The guy who started and owned Wendy's (before he died) did not graduate high school. Don't believe people when they say limitations. Even though I have a Ph.D., I think it's mainly me that has been responsible for my small business success. Don't listen to those people!

No. All you need is the money to buy / start it. And of course the business sense to keep it going.

Where do you live? But I don't really think it matters. If you have the money to own it thats all you need. It may help. Like you don't need to be an accountant to do your taxes but it can sure help.
