I read an article recently that was written while JK was on a book tour. She met up with Stephen King and he begged her not to kill off Harry. He said even if she's tired of writing right now to just let the story hang and eventually she may want to get back to them. He told her if Harry dies, there won't be much of a market for a continuation to the story. JK said she would consider it. I then read later on her website that Harry would not die but that 2 of the main characters would. I can't wait to see who it is.

No way!!! Jo will definitely kill him off in my opinion!! Anyways, Jo did NOT say that she would definitely be keeping Harry alive, so it is not true that she said that in any interview or on her website. However, she DID say that two main characters would die in book 7, but she did not mention at any time who they were going to be.

PS - You spelled "survive" wrong by the way....
