I'm talking teams here, not individual people. Regionally for me, one of the greatest rivalries is between Army and Navy football teams (college), and City and Poly-tech football teams (high school). You can pick pro-sports too, but usually the best rivalries are with the schools.

All Blacks v Wallabies. Thumping France at the weekend was sweet, but we really love to crush those Aussies!!!

(Rugby Union, New Zealand v Australia. Historically, NZ's 'Old Enemy' is South Africa, but the boycotts due to apartheid distanced today's generation from that traditional rivalry.)

traditionally the Michigan Ohio State college soccer opposition is the longest working and maximum fierce of any 2 activities communities... This 3 hundred and sixty 5 days this is extremely significant because of the fact the communities are ranked a million and a pair of in the country... go BLUE!
