I don't know how old you are, so I'll try.
Problem #1: To find out what is in, look at websites that have trendy things, like Limited 2, and others. Show your mom what type of clothes you like. Knockoffs of these itmes can usually be found at lesser expensive stores, like Target. You should wear the kinds of clothes you feel comfortable and confident in and that is it. DO NOT wear clothing that is not flatteiring to you.
Problem #2: I have hair that is difficult to manage also, what a pain. : ( Always, always condition and do a deep conditioner once a week. As for highlights, try them just around your face at first, they are very flattering and will make your face look more tan. I do not know a good shampoo, but try one with a straghtning agent to it, or curling agent, whatever look you are going for. I LOVE Paul Mitchell Freeze 'N Shine. Expensive, but SO worth it. Also, I LOVE my straightening iron. It makes my hair much more manageble. Look around in the store for products that can help with your hair ailments, there are tons!
Problem #3: Accesorize, accesorize, accesorize. Also, remember, what looks good on your friends or others may not look good on you. Experiment. Get some fun earrings, belts, headbands, bracelets, and neckalces and have fun! As for convincing your mom - just tell her how you feel and explain that you are getting older and your glasses make you feel childish and you don't feel comfotable wearing them and you would like to update your look with contacts. But, if she agrees, show her you can be responsible by cleanining, making all your eye appointments, etc.
Also, explain to your mom that you need to be an individual and convince her to let you choose clothing, with her approval. Show her that you won't dissapoint her.

ur question made me sad i wish your mum would let you do more were i live faishionable is jeans and any king off long boots really accept anckle boots i don't no if you would be alowed that highlights is a bad idea it will make your hair more dry how about putting mousse on your hair after a shower and then let it dry naturally see how it turns out because your hair is thick it should look quite nice
and as for the lenses well all this must be making you unhappy because i neraly cryed so maybe show your mom what i have put and explain to her that this is something you really want i don't no how strict your mom is but it might work
--my best freind has glasses shes really pretty
extra tips sleep with conditioner on your hair and wash it out in the morning it will be softer and shinier

Problem #1:
Well since your 13, Mervyns,JCPennys, Justice, Limited Too, Sears, Target, and some super Wal Mart.
Problem #2:
Well simple hairstyles are in right now. So try and pony tail, or put it in a clip, don't be a follower, be a leader, try out new hairstyles. Also Dove, are Granier Frutisce isn't pricy. It's great for all kinds of hair!
Problem #3:
Well I don't have my contacs yet but maybe you should tell your mother all the dangers of wearing glasses, but don't push too hard becasue she could totally freak! So maybe if you explained how dangerous glasses can be opposed to contact she could go for it. But if your familly is having money problems (I'm not saying your family does) but if your family is having them just deal with your glasses, or since Christmas, Hannaukah, and Kwanza are coming up maybe you could compromise and ask for contacs for one of those holidays.

#1. go to forever21, there clothes are suprisingly cheep, hell, even target has some ok stuff. Luck for you, the style is MUCH more conservative now, really long shirts and layering are popular. Really you could buy anything, and as long as you've got a cool piece of jewlery to wear with it, you're lookin cool. When you're older, you're just going to look back and laugh at what you wore anyway so just wait till you're older and are able to shop on your own to start freaking out about your moms strict rules.
#2- Embrace you're thick hair, just take really good care of it, let it grow out, get it trimmed so it's not scraggly. DO NOT GET STREAKS, it'll make it worse. Shampoo, condition, ad COMB it only when you get out of the shower (so it doesnt get puffy) get a nice oil to make it smooth and shiny
#3- I had to break my glasses in order to get contacts. Tell her how they fog up during gym or slip down when you get hot. They're just annoying to have, the cleaning, the taking them off and on. Maybe you could say you'll get hard contact lenses to correct your eye and make your vision better (instead of soft)
Hope that helps!!

Make sure u accesorize with jewelry.
For highlights if u have brown hair get a carmal color highlight.

I have bad hair too so dont worry ur not the only 1!! Try using straightners if you have thick or frizzy hair! Tie your hair up into sections and straighten each section at a time. Try wearing a long top in maybe navy blue or a dark shade of purple with leggings or footless tights... its really in fashion at the moment!
Thats one outfit!! Skinny Jeans.... you must have some!! You can look dressy or casual in them! Cute dolly shoes would look great as well! Your mum might not let you buy your own clothes but take a trip to the stores with her..nice things dont have to be expensive! Contacts.....
Ask your mum! if she says no dont argue with her because shes more likely to say no again! Sit down and talk with her and tell her your feeling..if you think the glasses make you look ugly then tell her! She will say..no ur gorjus but just say..MUM this is how i feel not u!! Please write back to me i would love to keep in touch!! xox

hi. i'm lots older, yet i became right into a private customer, and that i've got pals of each and all ages, and that all of them say that I continually %. the acceptable concern for them. you'll be able to desire to be sought after, and easily a tad flirty. in view which you're merely going to the action pictures, you do not could desire to instruct cleavage, yet do not bypass wearing a turtleneck the two (mock turtle with short sleeves is effective)! Being tall and narrow, i could emphasize waist and legs. placed on a quick skirt, yet not slutty short, approximately 15 inches long. placed on on acceptable a shade that flatters your eyes. purple usually is extreme high quality on every physique. upload upload-ons, a belt, an prolonged skinny headband.... upload-ons make it look such as you're a woman who knows the thank you to and enjoys to dress. and that they are and could be playful. Your shoes should not be extreme in the adventure that your date isn't tall sufficient, yet do placed on female shoes. adult males have low tolerance or be attentive to-how for gentle sneaker-like shoes, besides the reality that attractive Steve Maddens or Kenneth Cole or perhaps Sketchers will do apartments that are female or funky sufficient. on your outfits, think of of manufacturers like constrained for terribly lifelike expenses, or maxstudio and BCBGirls or city outfittters shops, for slightly additional funds, on your age selection. in case you reside the place eu manufacturers exist, decide for Diesel for a cool look, or Benetton/Sisley for city, alluring yet not slutty.

yeah well im 13 too and my mom is alot like urs. my hair is really thick and i got it layered with an all over color. umm carmel color. it looks more natural then streaks unles u get a whole lot of them.
1. old navy, belks(sometimes), aeropostale, american eagle, kohls, umm theres alot.
2. get it layered and NOT short, prolly mid length is good, thats how mine is now. and color. if ur hair is a dark brown like mine tell the lady to use a cap( its cheaper and quicker than foil) and get a blonde or carmelish color. thats what i have and i look so much hotter. try wearing makeup if you dont.
good shampoo... i use suave sleek&smooth. its not expensive. can get it a walmart/target.
stlye... the layered look makes ur hair look and feel thinner. have it angled in the back. and have the person cut ur bangs about at the cheek bone. BUT GET A STRAIGHTNER IF YOU DONT ALREADY HAVE ONE. then part it to either side. left or right. whatever makes you happy. or if you dont go to a stylist then part it 2 one side or have a loose ponytail. ummm or just relaxed.
hairspray. use w/e kind is good but dont spray too much or it makes ur hair look crappy. but when u do spray ur hair push down flyaways and any imperfections u have when u sprayed it.
3. ummm beg ur mom and dont say that everyone else has contacts. and ur mom is paying for it so its really up to her. tell her ull do something or just ask nicely and ask her to think about it and that u really hate ur glasses. but if u dont get them just find a style that looks good with ur glasses.
and dont try too hard to fit in. ull always be unique. one of my buds was called a copycat for along time b/c she tried to fit in too much. if ur friend or whoever has a style u like u can try to dress like that but always have ur own little twist to it. same with hairstyles. just be ur self it is so much easier and ull find friends who like u.when i started wearing makeup my friends reallized that im whatever they realized.
oh and about ur hairstyle at home well ummm what kind of hair do u have?? email me with that and ill give u some help. good luck with that!!
