I think they did. I was in the Army, and when I was..any soldier could look at a little dot on the horizon, and tell you what kind of vehicle it was...just by looking. Now these soldiers that first showed up at the roswell crash site, they initially put out a statement saying that it was in fact a downed U.F.O. then a few days later, that statement was retracted, and the story about it being just a weather balloon surfaced. I'm telling you, there's no way that trained military personel were standing right over this thing, and couldn't tell the difference between a balloon and a spaceship.
