Yes it would still make a sound eventhough there is no one there to hear it because sound waves would be generated. I think the philosphical question asks whether it make a NOISE. There is a difference between a sound and a noise. A noise is a sound that is loud and unpleasant. That is a judgement call; therefore, it would necessitate someone there to hear it and make the call.

That depends on whether you define sound as something that has to be heard or whether sound is defined as creating of vibrations.
If it is the making of vibrations, then yes. Just because no one is there is hear it doesn't mean it doesn't make a sound.
If sound only exist when heard, then it's still yes. Organisms in the woods probably heard it. Unless that sound needs to be heard by you.

It depends I guess. Common sesnse suggests that yes it would. However If you are thinking in terms of light cones and time being a variable depending on the speed of light, If nobody sees the event happen, then it doesn't. Pretty spun out
