become more "global". In other words to be more like Europe. ie Politically neutral, global economy, "global ethnicity" where everyone is exactly the same and nobody cares who's doing what?

Let me refer to the Muslim riots in France. The French did not put a stop to it as they should have. They played the appeasement game. We have to fight to retain OUR culture. Such as when the Mexican-Americans were marching earlier this year. They can celebrate their culture all they want, and they should. But we as a country we should not! We are an AMERICAN culture, some people would have it become extinct.

Obviously "global ethnicity" was a wrong phrase to use. What I mean is we are all one world, with one view, one country melts into another, so that countries no longer have their own culture. I WAS NOT referring to color.

No no no no no! Every country should be it's own, and be seperate. Countries shouldn't be mixed together. If they are, people lose their convictions that set them apart in the first place. (i.e. "nutrality". btw, nutrality is the first step towards humanism and a Godless nation)
If cultures are swirled together, it leaves a mellow, confused country that is fighting itself because of citizen unrest.

Europe is dying, literally. The childbirth is way below replacement rate. They are run by undemocratic faceless bureaucrats in Brussels. The home of Orwell somehow became the most surveilled country in the world. The whole continent is soon to become a Caliphate. I don't think anyone in the US wants to live under Sharia, so no. I think we have had 60 years of internationalism, it is time for the pendulum to swing back to isolationism for a while. Us and the world need a break from each other.

BTW the Europeans I've met, Irish, English, German, French, Dutch, and Belgian, have been more racist, esp anti-semitic (no, I am not Jewish) than all but a few Americans I know. I don't know what you mean by "global ethnicity".

Europe isn't politically neutral...

We are all heading towards a global economy...the places that don't will be left in the dark ages...

Global ethnicity? I'm not even sure what that means... sure, people of different ethnic backgrounds meet, fall in love, have kids... but how on earth would that make everyone the same?

Have you been to Europe? At all? Traveled around, seen the different countries, different people, different customs, different food, smells, sounds...?

The US has always been a "salad bowl" (I hate melting pot because it suggests that people lose their identity). It's what makes the country so amazing. We benefit from the contributions of all of the people, from all over the world, with all their varying view points and ideas.

If that's how Europe actually is,Who wants to be like Europe?
Its so boring! Europe has the same problems, the US does.
It just keeps quiet about it. Didn't you hear about Tony Blair?

And about that political neutrality, that's for cowards, that are afraid to take a side.

And for everyone being exactly the same, and no one caring about who doing what, ever heard of DIVERSITY IS THE COLORS OF LIFE?????

Have you ever been to or lived in Europe? Politically neutral? Global? They may all be in the EU together, but they are so individually motivated politically and economically it makes the US look like the most cohesive unit that ever existed... I am an American living in Europe right now... do not be fooled!

No, my wish is for the United States to remain as it is. If we wanted to be like Europe or any other country for that matter we wouldn't have fought for our independence. We also wouldn't have so many people putting their lives on the line for centuries trying to get here from ALL over the world.

NO. I hope not. I don't think we will ever be like Europe. Although I do like Europe an respect the cultures over there, I like it here in the USA, and this is where I think I belong.

No. I'm not totally happy with Europe doing it, either. I enjoyed trying to figure out the money from one place to another and I liked bringing some of it home to pass around the class for them to see it, especially when I was teaching "the world" in social studies.

I want the United States to take care of its own, let them live their lives free from overly burdenous taxation and government intervention, and protect our people with a strong military
