5 answers

1) 45-9= 36
2) 36-9= 27
3) 27-9= 18
4) 18-9= 9
5) 9-9=0
There is no remainder so 45/9 = 5 because there were 5 subtractions.

45-9=36
36-9=27
27-9=18
18-9=9
9-9=0

Basically you just keep subracting the answer to 9, then you count the number of subtractions you make. And that's 5, see it??

me neither but sounds like it might be something like
45-9 = 36
36-9 = 27
27-9 = 18
18-9 = 9
9-9 = 0
So you had to do it five times to reach zero so the answer is five ? I'm not sure if that's what it is but this is my best guess.

keep subtracting 9 from forty five until you get zero, then count how many times you could subtract it before you get to zero
