I'm quit confuce the use of active directory. Thanks for all yahoo member that view or helping me.

It means an Active Directory based network will expand to support your business as it grows. If you start out with 10 computers and users, it will accomodate it just fine. But if your business grows to 1,000 computers and users, it will expand to support them all. You can add other features to it to accomodate it... DHCP, DNS, Exchange, SQL server, SMS, RIS...etc

The only way i have heard this term used is that fact that Active Directory is expandable and has the ability to grow with its user base...

for example:
You can add users... you can create containers for different types of users, users with diferent roles / departments etc...it can be manipulated to support different numbers of users and can be added to.
