Sometimes she doesnt spit up at all but the times she does outweighs the times she doesnt... what could it be? She is formula fed, on similac, she eats about 7-71/2 ounces every three-five hours, except when shes sleeping ,she sleeps from about 10pm to 8 am. Sometimes it like, shoots out of her mouth like a projectile, sometimes it just comes out like a volcano.

Hi, I am a mom to 3 girls and they all spit up almost every time that they ate. I would recomend trying a soy based formula. If not then I would say burp her more often and feed less at each feeding. Maybe increasing feedings to compensate the lesser amounts. I went through almost every formula on the market for my 1st and finally ended up just putting her on whole milk at the age of 9 months. She did great with that but then later became lactose intolerant around the age of 2 till she was about 5. What a nightmare that was, lol. Then for the next 2 I ended up having to use the most stinky and expensive formula out there. It is call Nutramagin but let me tell ya it helped major, lol. This may not be the solution but I am willing to bet you are more than ready to try any suggestions, lol. Best Of Luck to you both.

She needs to be on a different formula. You might want to try Nestle Good Start. It has 1/4 of the lacose that the regular formula does. Enfimal has a formula called lacto free that might help, but I don't think that it fills the child up much. Anyway, that was the experience that I had with it.

first, before tying anything expensive like changing formula or medications, try only feeding her half the amount, burp her, then feed the rest. Sometimes if their tummy is so full, they burp and some comes back up. Burping once or twice during feeding is perfectly normal, and it stopped my son from throwing up on me.

Is she breast fed or formula fed? If she's formula fed you can get the thicker formula for babies who spit up a lot.

It sounds like something you would call GERD it is ok but they do have medication for it also. But call you PCP to be sure of what to do.
