End of the War?

Question

Now that the Dems are talking about surrendering the war in Iraq, how do you feel about our national security? Do you think we will be safer if we withdraw from Iraq? Do you think that Al Qaeda will leave the U.S. alone once we've left Iraq? How do you think the Iraq people will view our country after we have left them with terrorists controlling their country? Lastly, where would we be right now if the foreign nations who helped us win our independance left us before the job was done?

No if we leave before it is finished it will be just like wasting all the lives and the money put into these peoples freedom! we will all die eventually if we leave now

Last question first........Ok, where are the French? The only reason the French 'helped' during the Revoluntionary War was because of thier hatred of England. What did the French do in WW2? Opened the country to Nazi Germany in the hope they would be safe from harm. The you can not forget the money spent by this country to help, if not completely rebuilt countries. Those debts are still unpaid and how never been, nor will they be repaid. Then look at how much the USA give in foreign aid to countries that hate us and everything we (AMERICANs) stand for.
The Dems like to 'cut-n-run' and don't care about the safety of America. It would fit the agenda of 'Socialize' they are looking for. We will not be any safer in fact, quite the opposite. Showing the world that the American people don't have the backbone to see through a commitment, but that what the rest of this world does anyway........only exception being terrorist. The Iraqi people need to take a more aggressive stand if they are to be free. Hunt those that mean them harm and distory them, severe the head of the snake, and sent the message that they will not tolerate terrorist. If they want the USA to be it's controlling force, maybe we should. Let's make it the fifty-first state in the union.

The Dems won't stop the Iraq war for anything. In the past it has always been Dems who expanded America's wars. Their only reason for the anti-war rhetoric was to discredit all errors to the Republicans so they would gain a power foothold back in the congress and senate they so powerfully held for 64 years, to 1994. Now that they have it, they will continue to expand the war - if they can. Problem is, for the next two years, Bush is still in charge of the military aspects of this challenging problem. The election was about the Dem loss of power the last 12+ years - not the loss of life in Iraq.

i still dont remember anr Iraqis hijacking any planes. how come the Coalition forces are 150,000ish US troops, 9,000ish UK troops, a couple hundred each from other countries. If Iraq was such a threat to the rest of the whole world why didn't they jump up to help put Saddam down? There was no reason for me to have gone over there and get shot at.

No I do not think al qaeda will leave us alone. i think they are very happy with the election as it will all go their way. if we pull out of Iraq too soon we are throwing the Iraqi people under a buss. This seems to be lost on too many people. But the fake concern of our troops won the election for them, but will destroy America.
