She lives in so far away with her child. I noticed they both send text messages like for example: "you think i still have sexy voice" "i miss you both" "i miss you and my child", "please move back, come on". Is it normal situation for Americans if they are divorced?. I am confuse because in my culture you are not like that with your ex.

He tries to cheat me telling me " i do this only for my child" "lt is not good if my child see us argue, reason i am nice".
Honestly i feel he is using his child like a excuse.

He wrote her "move back" according to him to be close his child, only for that. However it is sound strange to me

No Dear, This is not normal. They are not over each other and sometimes divorced people who cant stand each other still sleep together.
The please move back and the sexy voice would have already told me to get far away from him. its obvious that if he said it that hes just using to you pass the time.
Move on, dont waste your time on this loser.

Um, just because your boyfriend is an American doesn't mean anything. It is never normal, in my opinion, to continue more than friendly conversations with ex's. Obviously she wants him back and in any culture, that means trouble for the new girlfriend.

well......i'm black and stuff like that shouldn't happen. but do u trust him ?that is the main question.if you trust him u should have no problem but if u don't trust him you should sit him down and talk 2 him about it and see what is up.does he send her a text back?if he does maybe something is up.does he go somewhere with out tellin u? if he is u should defiantly do something like talk 2 him ask his friends don't get 2 suspicious or he will know what u are trying 2 do and lie 2 you
good luck girl

Do not continue in this relationship, if you do its going to be nothing but trouble. He can love his child without starting over with his ex, stop and think what would you tell me if I asked you the questiion that you are asking?
Good Luck!

No that is NOT normal for any kind of divorced person. He is still interested in her. It is not acceptable in American culture either. Tell him to stop or it's over.

No this has nothing to do with him being an American. You are right you don't act like that to an ex. He still has feelings for his ex

He obviously has issues with his ex. It sounds as if he is still interested in carrying on a relationship with her.
Talk with him about this.

This is not normal. They still might have feelings for each other. Talk to him about this and see what he says about it.

this woman will always be in his life because they have a son. you need to sit down and talk to him ask him why or you sending your X text message ask him do you love me we need to be open about our feeling I respect you I don't send text massage I love you do you love me and take it from there.
