i have this document that i opened and it's on acrobat [.PDF] and i want to open it in word. any way that's possible?

Nope. But you can get a PDF to WORD convertor program, or try this free one on-line.

Just look for Free PDF Converter 1.1

To convert a word document, or any printable document to pdf, you can download programs such as 'PDF995' which act as a virtual printer that instead of giving you a print out, give you a pdf. However, this does not sound like what you want. Try right clicking on one of the pdf documents click properties. It should pop up a window that has the name, then underneath that the type of file, and under that it tells you what program it opens with. Assuming this currently says word on your computer, click change and then find Adobe reader in your program files folder on (C) drive, click the application and accept. This will take you back to the properties window. Click Ok. It should now open properly with acrobat reader. Hope this helps.

No. It'll need to be converted to Word by either a conversion program or an OCR (scanning) program.

Not that I'm aware of and I've taught MS Word for years. Adobe is a completely different type of application.
