Of course, Cat Stevens now is known as Yusuf. He's releasing a new album, and I want to give it a try, but don't know if it is worth buying.
Anybody here has listened to it? What do you think?

Just read about the new album and then made the mistake of going to the TROLL.... errr "discussion" boards on Yahoo News. I don't believe I saw ONE post about the actual MUSIC. Everyone was too busy slamming him for his conversion to Islam, calling him a terrorist, and the usual insipid comments made by "people" on those boards. Obviously, not one person had listened to any of the MUSIC, which is what it's about, isn't it? As for BUYING the music, that brings into question issues about whom it might be supporting, etc. WHOLE different story. But I would like to judge the music on artistic merit and not political merit. Apples and Oranges

I agree with the hope that it's going to be like 'Teaser and The Fire Cat' That was my favorite, as I love 'Where Do The Children Play?'
I'm really glad to hear he's recording again. Is this new songs, or old "standards"?

Hi,I heard a track from it on the radio a couple of days ago and it sounded good.I'm just glad he's singing and playing guitar again.

I've listened to the full-length album, and i must tell you: it's one of the best album i've ever heard, seriously, GO BUY IT!!!

i havent bought it yet but have been listening to all the songs all day today..i think they are amazing!!!!!!!!!..they speak to your heart..
you can listen to them from the url below..but it is advisable of course to buy the CD itself..
