go to several bars and pubs. join a dance or judo class. meet people there.

Go to church, join the local kiwanis club, lion's club, chamber of commerce, volunteer at the hospital, or volunteer for hospice, work with habitat for humanity, do something fun, and you will find like-minded people.

hmm i live in cardiff, are you a student cos im a native, a good place is the coal exchange, good bands play there if you like rocky stuff, in fact what do u like.
