Dude, there's more to this tale than you are telling. If you could tell her, odds are you would have by now. There's a reason why you and she are friends and perhaps not yet more.
There are times when telling this person would be right, but there are times and circumstances where telling this person will cause a serious rift in your relationship as friends.
I can't advise you either way without more intel.

I would have to say be bold and tell her. You will never know if the friendship can become anything more if you do not be honest with her about your feelings. If she says she does not feel the same then atleast you will know so you can move on. The best relationships are those founded on friendship. If you and her are truely friends then the friendship will not be hindered unless she starts feeling pressured.

my philosphy on life is that there is nothing more important than love. You have to be willing to risk being vulnerable and tell her. It could be the best thing that ever happened to you. If you never say anything, you will never know.
If she is truly your friend and she does not share the same feelings towards you, she will be honest with you, and then it will be up to you if you can accept simply being her friend. Tough decision, but life is about chance and we don't often get second chances.

I agree with grandm, you should wait and see for awhile, so many young people jump to fast, and then have a chance on loosing them as friends when the relationship ends...

If she's really your friend it wont ruin the relationship. I think that you should go for it. If she doesnt know and doesnt find out you'll regret you didnt tell her and you'll always wonder what could have been

So don't tell her; keep the friendship for now, and see what develops on her part!

Hopefully she will have mutual feelings...but you need to be prepared if she doesn't feel the same. Is she worth the risk?

you just really have to talk to her, and make it clear to her that something is on your mind. dont be to forward though. keep conversations smooth and flowing and you will know the right time when and you will know if she feels it or not.
