Or to do what we do?

I don't mean YOU specifically, but mankind in general.

Because we want, deep within ourselves, to simply connect with people. To be understood. I seem to have been blessed with the ability to find things in common with many people, without them having to try. I have many passions and things I enjoy and have always been that way, so sometimes this idea can go both ways. Does that make sense? I am no longer sure.

Okay, well, I just read all the answers, and feel kind of odd, because generally, I don't see people being that way. Of the general few that I do see, being that way, I consider them to be pushy and annoying. I will take exception from the general few, and point out religious groups, because any religious group thinks their way is the only way. Other than that, I really don't see it much.

Guess it's like being an addict and needing someone to go along with you. Not I.....I not only like being different, I want everything I have to be different. I look for only the best but always different. Most of the time it turns out for the best as well.

To feel normal in what we do and say and like...

It's our own little form of being unique and expanding our personalities into others...

We like to see that we're worthy enough to get copied.

And sometimes we just can't handle differences because we feel superior in some form or another.

I know alot of people that do that, but I just tune them out instead of getting annoying. Sometimes you have to hang up the reciever and disconnect.

Good question, I have no clue. I'll guess it has to do with assimilating with one another to create bonds of friendship or association of some kind. It's probably our strange way of sharing, ya dig?
