I do, but not a lot. The most interesting thing is the lengths that its ardent practitioners go through to avoid killing any being. I think that they might take it too far, but in a world where people rarely pay enough respect to life, its refreshing to know that there are people who will greatly inconvenience themselves to avoid harming any form of life.

I'd heard of it before - especially the sacredness of ALL living things.
But, after looking it up, I think this is what's most interesting: karma

"The nine tattvas, or principles, are the single most important subject of Jain philosophy. It deals with the karma theory of Jainism, which provides the basis for the path of liberation. Without the proper knowledge of this subject, a person can not progress spiritually. The true faith and understanding of this subject brings about right faith (samyak-darshana), right knowledge (samyak-jnana), and right conduct in an individual.

I find such removal from the world to be subversive to the principals of life itself. All things are connected and we impact the world with every thing we do. To remove yourself from this is impossible and to attempt to do so is to deny life itself by denouncing it's cyclical principle of life springing from death.

I find the philosophy reactionary, extreme and immature.
