Big time science. Fairly new, though, only about a hundred years of true application of the scientific method. Researchers like Pavlov and Skinner are well known scientists in early psychology. Here, just for the fun of it, is Skinner's pigeon controlled bomb for WWII:

Not at all if you mean applied psychology the psychology experiments yes some of them are scientific but the real world psychology like diagnosis and treatment NO WAY Clinicians rely purely on their SUBJECTIVE perception in order to label someone ''mentally ill'' that's why you get DIFFERENT diagnosis and treatments for the same symptoms a very common occurrence in counseling and in practicing psychiatry as well There is NO way to be 100% correct about something that is so fluid, emotions and thoughts change so do moods, and the minds of the ''experts'' interpreting the data is mainly the "tool" or filter used for diagnosis instead of running lab exams as they would do with a REAL science like medicine

Yes Psychology is a science because everything that is put down as a theory has been tried and tested.

That entirely depends on who you ask. For many Psychology is not a "real" science, because the findings are hard to substantiate. I ask you how you are feeling, as is your emotional health, there is no sure fire way to guarantee that the answer you give is the correct one. You may be having homicidal thoughts about me, but for fear of lock up in a nice "hug-me" jacket, you state that everything is fine.
Since Psych depends on these types of non-provable variables, many do not consider it a science.

Well, it can't be a hard science like physics because part of the definition of science is that your peers can replicate your results. In social sciences replication only happens some of the time.
What social sciences like psychology aim to do is to be as scientific as possible in the methods they use.
Does that give them the right to call themselves scientists? You decide.

It is a social science that deals with behavior. In psychology, you learn a lot of theories that explain why people behave a certain way.

It is a science although probably not always an exact one. It is to do with the workings of the brain and mind and human behavior which is often involuntary as it is an effect of the brain. So yes.

Its a social science, so technically yes. It involves a lot of biology, to understand how the brain works.
