It struck me suddenly. Despite all the rabid discussions going on here between conservatives and liberals, religious people and atheists, one constant remains...
All people from all sides will sometimes use pictures of cute, furry animals as their avatars.
So can't we agree on one thing?
Furry animals are cute.

if round and furry = doubly cute!!
well, tiger when tamed, can be likeable too.. and some spiders are furry too!!!!
i like dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbit..kaola, panda, polar...
if me a tasmania devil.. maybe i will like it too!!!

Some of us even think animals that are not what most would call "cute & furry" are kinda nice too! I have a peculiar fondness for snakes & spiders as well.

Sometimes when I am bored with someone blathering on with an opposing opinion, I just imagine them as a dog wearing a Marilyn Munroe dress, smoking a cigar. Then when they talk I just imagine barks coming out instead. It sure works for me. They suddenly become amusing and cute.

Agree, but I know a certain liberal who would disagree with me. She disagrees with everything I say. Literally. I said the Red Hat Society ladies were sweet, good people. She said they're radicals. I said female soldiers are as brave as their male counterparts, and that they just want to serve their country, she said they're concubines.
