I'm making a board game for science. I decided to make a board game similiar to the game ''candy land.'' The thing is i have to make it based on cells. Like i can't make the background with chocatate and stuff like that, because cells don't eat candy. Any ideas. Plus, You think it's a good idea to make the pieces as cells that are fighting for ATP maybe. The person who reaches the finish line gets ATP. You don't have to tell me exactly what to do, but i just want some ideas. Thanx.

You need to decide where the cell is and what kind of cell it is. For instance, is it a solitary one-celled organism floating in a pond? Or is it part of a large multicellular organism?

And is it a plant cell? If so, it will make its own ATP when it has light and carbon dioxide and enough water.

If it is not a plant cell, it still won't be taking in ATP directly, it will be using carbohydrates to generate ATP.

Board Game
1. Cut boards
Cut 4 7½"x7½ squares from pressed cardboard. I used Bienfang illustration board but any pressed (not corrugated) cardboard that's about 1/16" thick will do.
2. Add Forward-folding Hinges
Place two squares side-by-side, face up. Join the two squares with a strip of tape. Duct tape works well. Repeat for the other pair of squares.
3. Add Backward-folding Hinge
Place the two pairs side-by-side, face down. Join two of the squares with a strip of tape.
4. Add Trim to Outside Edges
Add a strip of tape to the outside edges of each square. Use a separate piece of tape for each square.
5. Print Images
Print 4 7" x 7" images on adhesive paper, one for each quardrant of the game. I used Avery full sheet labels for this.
6. Trim Images
Trim the adhesive paper down to 7¼"x7¼";, leaving ¼" of white space on the outside edge of each square
7. Add Images to Board
Peel off the backing of each sheet and apply to the board.
The board should fold up like this.
