There is a "T" intersection here where a huge tree sits on the left corner and blocks view of oncoming traffic. Even if you slowly crawl out your car will be in the way of cars coming at 60mph.

I've had numerous close calls, both as the one coming out and when others came out unexpectedly. A relative wasn't so lucky.

The tree is on private property (100 acres of desert land, no homes or fences) so how do I go about requesting that it be removed? I do not know who owns it. Can I put in a request to the city instead?

You should be able to find the owner through the courthouse. Also, if it's close enough to the road, it may be on city property, and the city would be responsible. Check to see how far off the road is city property. Here, it's 25 feet from the center of the road. The city came and removed a nuisance tree from "my" property by my pointing that out to them.

If the tree is that close to the road, isn't it in the easement? I would ask the city first, then I would contact the owner of the property.

it is as much as the elected representatives of the city to choose for a thank you to spend the city's funds in accordance to interior reach regulations. in case you sense that the council has broken the regulation then confer with the District lawyer. in case you sense that it extremely is merely elementary corruption, which I do, then get the bums voted out.
