I suppose counseling is the best and right answer. If that is out of the question you have to make yourself THINK every single time you do or say anything. In your head, say, why am I doing this? Is it the best choice? Why am I saying this? Is it the best choice? since you are already aware it is a problem it is in your court so to say to help stop it. Just think! Good luck!

hI +Tennis, I divorce my husband because get was a controlling BASTARD and abusey. The best thing to do right now is work on letting who ever is your parnter is, come and go as she wants to.One problem about a controlling person is they have no trust at all. You need to work very hard on trusting your parnter and start feeling better about yourself and her when she wants to do something without you. If you don't work on these issues, you will lose your parnter and any other parnter you may get.Believe me i know this for a fact.

Your just going to have to stop yourself from trying to control things. Just stop doing it when you see you are making the same mistakes again.
