What did the Cyclops value most in The Odyssey?

I've read and re-read and can't figure it out. Was it the ram, his eye, or the prophet foretelling that he would be blinded by Ullyses? Help!

yes his food (goat/ sheep) because he would serach for them and trap them in the cave and always kept count

they were giants.
Cyclops were metal workers and blacksmiths
so this is, maybe, the reason for using just one eye.
