I get yeast infections once every 3 months or so. I don't have any STDs because I just got tested. It usually happens after I use soap down there. I have a special female vaginal soap called Summers Eve, I used that and a spray deoderizer. Maybe that started it. Whenever I try to wash down there I get one. I just want to be clean. I don't know why I get so many yeast infections, does anybody know?

well yeast infections happen for a lot of reasons. I would try stop using the products that you are using. Also if you wear a lot of silk panties, thongs, etc that will cause it as well. I have also heard that sleeping without underwear is good once in awhile, lets it breathe. You should go to the doc and get that checked out tho. Good luck

First of all, my GYN informed me that those special feminine products can contribute to your infection because it it illiminates too much bacteria sometimes which is the cause of a yeast infection. Second, no deoderants that also adds to your problem. The only thing you need to do is wash it good with warm water and make sure that you dry it real good. Yeast infections can come from stress, change in appetite, materials in certain tissue, allergic reaction to condoms ......so it's nothing that you should be ashamed of. Maybe you should consult with an OB/GYN.

Could be a number of reasons. That crap you're using might be one of them. Here are some others.
If your underwear are too tight or if they are nylon and not cotton, that may be a reason. Wearing G-strings is another.
Oral antibiotics cause yeast infections. You may be passing it to your boyfriend if you have one, and he may be giving it back to you.
Wearing tight jeans can cause them too.
Using douche can cause them too.
Try drinking plenty of fluids and eat more yogurt. Yogurt is good for clearing up yeast infections.
If all of these things don't help, then go to the drug store and get yourself some monistat.
Hope this helps.

Yeast infections don't usually start after you wash. I do know females can get a yeast infection from wiping themselves the wrong way, from back to front, when you do a #2 and you wipe yourself from back to front, your transferring bacteria from your anus to vaginal opening. Some females get yeast infection from the types of underwear they choose to wear. Wear cotton panties only. No more deodorizer sprays. The website below is very helpful. It has preventive measures.

NEVER use soap down there. It is not necessary and it unbalances the natural flora if you will of the area. My obstetrician told me that years ago, and shocked I paid attention and realized I never needed to "clean" down there with anything other than water.
When you shower normally, just make sure you get to all the little folds.
Also excessive use of perfumed toilet paper, fem napkins and such can exaccerbate yeast infections, as some medications.
Try drinking Aloe Vera juice, stay away from flour for awhile too, and see what happens..

First of all, No more summers eve! No spray deoderizers! Don't put "soap in there" either. Use NOTHING inside your body.. Use mild soap on the outside but nothing inside. Take a BATH daily, not a shower unless you can stand on your hands. Wash yourself out in the bath with clean water. Anything but as I describe will screw up your PH balance. Which will cause oder and infections!!

On another note: Is your mate keeping himself clean?? Men can easily give you a yeast infection. Inspect his stuff before sex. Is it red?? Rashy looking?? No sex buddy!

You should not be using soap, deodorant spray or douche as the vagina is a self cleaining oriface. You are disturbing your bodies natural PH balance by doing this. You also need to eat plenty of yogurt with live active cultures or use acidophillus capsules to help keep your flora healthy. Also be sure to wear only 100% cotton underwear. Follow all of these things and definately throw away the female wash and deodorant spray as they are not needed. Good Luck.
