nope, although if your a spiritual, "tarot card" type of person person, and you know someone with a "lost" death that they find precious to your location, then you may find you mind "generating" an image of movement on the weegie board...
Im not exactly sure, but I have heard stories, most of which are probably fake.
I think its just a way to make money, garauntee

I believe weegie boards do work because i played with one when i was like 10, me and my cousin unplugged everything in the room and turned off all the lights,except for a night light.Then we asked it what time was it and it told us.Well i got up and went and asked my uncle what time was it and he told me the same thing the board told me!So yes I think they are very real!

A OUIJA board works on a simple principle,
A person will sub-consciously move the.....thingy ( whatever the hell you crazy people call it)....around to a place that they want (or fear)
If you closed your eyes and screwed with one it would show up as nonsense....so if it's for some bizarre sleepover (I'm assuming) show your mom this...if you BELIEVE this well then DON'T use it...it will trouble your mind and scare you when it really is bull

I have seen this question again and again. I agree with Trouble in paradise. If you don't know what you are getting into and are just looking for a cheap thrill....this is not the place to do it. If you find that you are having problems that you can't explain after using one a few times then I suggest you contact you local pagan community so that they can help you out of the hole you have fallen into.

It all depends on whether or not you believe, just like anything else in life...I do believe and I would not recommend using one unless you are very aware of what you are getting yourself into. You may end up opening doors you don't know how to close. Also, I would not recommend it due to your age since you are saying your mother will not allow you to use one. Wait until you are older and fully understand what you will be doing...until then, just do your research. Good luck and be careful!

I've tried it (a home made one) and it worked..In the sense that it moved. We asked it to spell out what a friend was thinking without our friend teling us ofcourse and without him touching the glass and it spelled out the right word. I personally still don't believe in the whole talk to spirits thing but if you want to see what it looks like check out youtube, plenty of people put their own ouija board experiences on there...

Ouija boards are not toys. Stay away from them, unless you want an evil spirit in your house. My brothers tried one, and I was left with the result in my room...a very scary entity. The spirits especially like to latch on to young girls in their early teens. Please take notice of your mom on this one..........OK, I notice 2 thumbers on this one. I'm being honest with my answer. Anyone who says the boards are rubbish, then you either haven't used one, or you were simply messing around. Go to anyone who deals with the paranormal and ask their opinion.

yes they work but its ill advised to be used.
when My sister got one for her birthday, everythime we used it something bad would happen to us, then when I finally threw it away, I told it to burn in hell, That night I had a bad incident with gasoline and fire, that resulted in part of my face being burned,
