Ha, that's funny. It will probably go up a lot, but water is very cheap compared to gas. Even if it goes up in price by 1000%, it would still be like a 1/5 of the price of gas. Just look at a water bill - the average house-hold water bill is under $35 for like 1000 gallons of water. That's nothing.

excellent question, i have been doing water/wastewater treatment since 1984 and there will be a global freshwater shortage in 2015 ( according to the "experts" in my Field) if this car gets developed it will need pure H2O, something that is not readily available , distillation and reverse osmosis comes close but water is an amazing solvent , if there is anything available for it to absorb , it will, for a brief time i worked at Ballard Power making fuel cells , the pure H2O from the exhaust was so "aggressive" it ate the early stainless steel exhaust systems ! so yes the water these cars will use will be expensive as you will not be able to simply stick your garden hose in the tank and let 'er rip

logically it will only go up a little b cause of inflation
it shouldnt go up b cause of the cars
the only real reason the gas prices are going up is because the amount of gas is going down and the amount needed is going up
but the water will never go down because the exaughst goes back into the atmosphere

No. We can't run out of water, so the supply will never be less than demand. I live in Seattle and I swear... with the rain we get, we could supply enuf for the entire US by just ourselves! lol.

It doesn't have to. All the people that drink bottled water already pay more for that than they do for gas. There's a sucker born every minute.

You must not pay the water bill at your house. Gas has gone down, water has gone up, at mine.
