Yes there is a connection, but not a good one. Your baby is probably starting to teethe. When babies drool alot, it is a sign of teething. Some babies become constipated when they are teething but it isn't a good thing. It says in the books I have that when teething babies are constipated, they need to see the pediatrician. I'm sure there's nothing extremely wrong with him/her, but I do think you should consult the doctor about it.

Are you sure that she is constipated? If she hasn't had a BM in over 3 days, she's constipated. Try giving her 2 ounces of water, no more.
Drooling could be many things, not just that she's constipated. She could be trying to teeth early.

It sounds like your baby may be at the beginning stages of teething, they tend to drool a lot then. The constipation may or may not be because of teething though. Did you recently change from breast to formula or cows milk? Cows milk can cause constipation. If you're concerned call your pediatricians office just to be sure.

Probably not ...but babies start teething around 3 months of age as far as the constipation could be caused by formula. Either way you should call the pediatrician.
