The lady who works behing the desk at my school thinks I'm a special kid! When I give her my Drivers Ed sighn-up forms I think she throws them away. They let the older kids in first. My friend, who is 5 months younger than me got in. I'm passing all my classes which is more than the requirement for DE. I'm always in there trying to sighn up and asking questions, or at least I feel like I am. It seems everyone knows things that I don't. I feel confused and unsure all the time but I'm just a freshman. I once asked her where the computer lab was and her dirrections led me to the special kids' computer lab (it's a big school, so they have their own lab) where I was imediately confronted by the teacher and given directions to the normal computer labs. I guess I'm a bit odd but I usualy don't worry about people thinking I'm special. My real concern is getting into Drivers Ed. How do I show her I'm mentally fit to drive? I don't want to make a big deal or get parents/principal involved.

Ask the lady you turn the forms into why you haven't been enrolled in driver's ed yet.

You have to get your parents and the principal involved if you suspect this woman is sabotaginf your Driver's Ed application.

Ask her point-blank why you haven't gotten in yet. If she won't give you a straight answer, ask your principal. You could ask one of your teachers to find out for you, too, or to go down with you to talk with that lady. Just stand your ground and insist on a good answer. Good luck!

Your grammar and spelling don't point to anything like a disability.

Talk to your principal and use the words "actionable", "attorney" and "legal recourse".

You'll be driving in no time.
