What are some of the really good stores on the 'Magnificent Mile' in Chigago??? What kind of stuff can I get there?

bloomingdales (also has a mall attached called the 900 shops), louis vuitton, burberry, chanel, water tower place (has lord & taylor and a mall attached). this mall has rampage, express, fcuk, etc. h&m, victorias secret, kenneth cole, levi's, niketown, disney store, sak's (with a mall attached called chicago place), cartier, tiffany's, crate and barrel, american girl place, ralph lauren, hershey's store, neiman marcus, nordstrom's (with a mall attached called westfield at northbridge), pottery barn, bulgari, armani, harley davidson, j crew, sephora, banana republic. the prices are all over the board, so depending on your range, you are just going to have to look. but if you are heading north, start at the river. if you are heading south, start at louis vuitton (by the drake hotel). marshall field's (the big store, now macy's) is on state street and on the south side of the river. there is also a 4 story old navy over there too. have fun.

I was in Chicago about a week ago and I really liked Lord and Taylor in the Water Tower Plaza (it might be Place). They had really cute purses and I think they had clothes and stuff too. Also at the Water Tower is Macy's and it's really big and their clothes were so pretty. Pretty close to those is the Hershey's store and they have tons of candy.

The Nike store for athletic clothes and shoes. The Apple store for a new iPod or computer stuff. Really, there are a bunch of different stores of all kinds on the street.

Water Tower Place has some great stores
There's also the big Nordstrom's with a mall attached a little farther south on Michigan Ave.
My suggestion would be to start at Bloomingdale's (also has a mall attached) and work your way south---Enjoy!
