No, Aethaeists could care less about religion - which they regard as irrelevant. Weirdos would exist irrespective of religion, and I would say hypocrites would too.
Perhaps the question should be . why has religion caused more and bloodier wars than aetheists, weirdos and (possibly, though I'd have to check the stats...) hypocrites put together...

I am an atheist, the difference between myself and obviously you is that I have studied religions and their origins and so I am well informed. You on the other hand have very little or no knowledge and therefore miss call others because of that. Do you believe that you are good looking - do you get upset when some one else says you are not? Belief in any term is a personal thing.
To those who state religion has caused more upset etc... are also misinformed, this upset etc.. is man made and sometimes use religion as an excuse. Being a believer is not the easy way to go through life but being misinformed and ridiculing others is.
Look at your own life before downing others.

Religions exist as far as I can see because there is a deep realisation in the human psyche that yearns to make sense of our existence. Religion is a system of belief and demands a lifetime of reflection, and adherence to a particular way of life. All are free to try or to reject. Reading comments from some contributors on this site you would think that there was some sinister plot to brainwash every living member of the human race.
I know that there are a minority of cults that might just want to do so, but we are all free thinkers and follow our own paths.

Religion exsist to allow people to explore the world and find ansdwers to the theologocial questions they may have. People follow the religion to be free of sin and be given eternal life.

There is really only one religion, per God. Everyone has the right to choose. But your hypocrites, atheists and weirdos have no right to make judgment. It works both ways!

I don't understand the question. If you asked if they existed so jerks were allowed to live, then maybe.... It's mainly for people to believe in something. Nothing more.
