I got this one because my niece (and every other 13 year old girl) loves her! Miley Cyrus plays the character Hannah Montana on the show of the same name on the Disney channel. Miley is the daughter of Billy Raye Cyrus (of mullet and "Ache-y Break-y Heart" fame) and he also plays her father on the show. When the show is not filming Miley can be found touring around the country promoting the show and her songs/album from it with another very popular Disney show singing cast "The Cheetah Girls" I recently took my niece to see them all in Louisiana and they were very nice and shook hands after the show with much of the crowd (even Billy Raye was there and sans mullet is looking GOOOOD!) However my ears are still ringing. Not from the loud music but the decimal level of an arena of screaming 13 year olds. Dogs in Hong Kong are still howling. As an interesting side note the fabulous Miss Dolly Parton is not only Miley's real life God-Mother but also plays Hannah's on the show.

Miley Cyrus is the daughter of actor/singer Billy Ray Cyrus (he stars in the sitcom "Doc" and he also sang "Achy Breaky Heart").
Miley Cyrus also is the star of the kid show -- "Hannah Montana".

she's just a character on disney channel that is a rock/pop star and lives a regular life "undercover". Its a cute show but nothing to go Ga Ga over (at least for older teenagers....my sister really likes it and shes a preteen)

I found out who she was by talking to my 18 year old and my 16 year old shes billy ray cyras's daughter thats all i know about her.
