I went to the toilet and my knickers had a brown stain all over it when i wiped my "bum" it left a brown but wth a bit of red stain on it. is this my period or just discharge?

Dont worry it's just your period starting. It's not always red at first but give it a few hours and it will be. Good luck.

Brown discharge is old blood. Red is newer blood. Sometimes periods begin and end with a more brown discharge. I would not worry about it.

I believe it is nornal. I did that last month and my period was light for a few days, then I bed worse than I've ever bled.
I think these weird things are just part of being a woman

It's perfectly normal, the blood isnt always red. That brown blood is just "old" blood. You're fine, stop worrying

Yes it is yor period. DO not hesitate to tell your mom. I waited a long time when I started to tell my mom when I started and she thought I didn't trust her when she found out. So just tell your mom becuase it is your period
