That depends upon what kind of insanity you have. If it is genetic that must be treated by professionals.If it is behavioural then remedy is change your thinking pattern,observe your thought process and obsession and ask critical questions to yourself.Prayers,meditation also helps a lot. Be open to yourself and rational to others.

I have always thought insanity occurs in those who can not or will not accept what is real, thus keeping themselves forever 'on the fence' of balanced response, eventually falling "off".
